This evening took place the second match of Euro 2024: Serbia-England. Triumphant 1-0 against the Serbian Eagles, the Three Lions developed their finest football and one of their essential players stood out during this meeting: Jude Bellingham.

The Madrid player gave a football lesson to Dragan Stojkovic’s men. It’s simple, Bellingham was just everywhere. He was present on the offensive front, was there at the heart of the game to offer solutions to his teammates, he was even impactful on defensive returns. Brief, a superb performance this evening. His commitment and presence were even rewarded with a goal. Thanks to a good offset of Kyle Walker, Bukayo Saka achieves a magnificent cross on the head of Jude Bellingham who takes the advantage over his counterpart. From the 13th minutes, the Three Lions opened the score against a clocked Serbia, who recovered in the second half, without turning the situation around. Throughout the game, the young English midfielder demonstrated of determination and extraordinary technical accuracy surely much appreciated by Gareth Southgate and all the supporters.
Next for England, it will be the second match of their group against Denmark. Thanks to this victory, the English are undeniably taking an option on qualification for the round of 16 of the Euro. Bellingham’s teammates are on a mission to win another major international title, title which the Three Lions have been deprived of since 1966date of their only World Cup victory.
