Chaimae’s family wishes to repatriate his body to Morocco, and precisely to Rabat, his hometown, to be buried there. The costs linked to the transfer of the body to Morocco are estimated at 7,000 euros, which the family was able to raise after a collection.

In statements to the Rheinpfalz newspaper, Noura, who lives near Darmstadt, announced her intention to use the funds raised to repay a loan taken out by Chaimae’s mother and cover funeral expenses in Morocco. “We still feel like we’re living a nightmare.”

The body of the Moroccan woman was found on Monday in an apartment on Friedrich-Ebert-Straße by a 29-year-old man. Next to the 24-year-old woman, also lay the body of a 34-year-old man believed to be Chaimae’s ex-boyfriend. The Zweibrücken public prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation to elucidate these murders. For the moment, no suspect has been arrested in connection with this case, said prosecutor Felix Huth.

For its part, the management of the Nardini clinic in Zweibrücken where the victim worked, presented its condolences to the staff for the loss of this “very committed caregiver” and this “kind person” that Chaimae was. The Moroccan “dedicated her life to the care of others and brought light and joy to the lives of everyone she met.”
