The orchestra of young noise makers from the Rabastinoise association “Le cri du son” will be live on June 29 at 8:30 p.m. in Salvagnac for the opening of the Ciné Zik in Tarn festival hosted by Lumen and co. Around ten children from the Zimbamboum orchestra and a few adults will do the live sound effects for the short film “The Tiger” by Rabastino director Jean-Jean Arnoux. The soundtrack is produced on the piano, also live, by 2 students from the Salvagnac music school, Vox musica. A call for participants is launched by the association. “There are still a few places left for children or adults who want to learn how to sound live on a film” says Julie Cail, professional sound artist. They will join young people from Zimbamboum, who have been rehearsing the show for several months. “To do this, you must commit to being present on Wednesday June 26 from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. for a sound effects workshop and the dress rehearsal, and on Saturday June 29 in the evening in Salvagnac for the film show.”

A sound exhibition for 4 to 6 year olds will take place on Wednesday June 26 at the media library from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sarah Valéro, music therapist at the La chaloupe association, accompanies the children’s group. She will present the fun and interactive exhibition on a sound creation. The scores, whose notation with shapes and colors was created by the children, and instruments will be presented during the animation.
