Ukraine says it shot down 62 drones overnight. Russian authorities report a “massive” drone attack on Moscow Oblast. A woman was injured. Three airports were temporarily closed.

Russian forces launched a record number of 145 drones over Ukraine overnight from Saturday to Sunday, 62 of which were destroyed, the Ukrainian Air Force said in a message posted on Telegram.
Apartment buildings were damaged Odessabut no casualties were reported. HAS Kyivair defense downed a dozen drones during two nighttime air alerts.
To repel the attack, Ukrainian forces used anti-aircraft missiles, units of “electronic warfare” and mobile firing groups.
The Ukrainian military claims that ten drones sent by the Russians penetrated the Moldovan and Belarusian airspaces or returned to Russia.
Moscow region attacked by dozens of drones
The Russian army says it has shot down 70 Ukrainian drones, half of them over the Moscow region.
The mayor of the Russian capital, Sergei Sobyanin, reported 32 drones shot down in his latest report, citing municipalities where these interceptions took place, including Ramenskoye, Kolomna and Domodedovo.
Describing on Telegram a “massive attack“, Governor Andrei Vorobiov affirmed thata 52-year-old woman was injured after falling debris. According to the regional manager, she was hospitalized in moderately serious condition for burns to her face, neck and hands.
The attack disrupted airport operations Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Zhukovsky, and flights there have been suspended, according to Russian airport authorities.
Other drones were shot down over the Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Kaluga and Tula oblasts, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
And ammunition depot was hit in the Bryansk region.
“At least eight explosions were recorded,” declared the Ukrainian General Staff, which published a photo of a major fire.
