Ms. Soraya Mouloudji took up her duties as Minister of National Solidarity, Family and the Status of Women on Tuesday in Algiers, replacing Ms. Kaoutar Krikou, following the reshuffle of the Government carried out on Monday by the President of the Republic , Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
In a statement to the press following the handover ceremony, Ms. Mouloudji, who was head of the Ministry of Culture and Arts, “expressed her thanks to the President of the Republic for this renewed confidence in his person and his appointment at the head of such an important ministry”.
In this context, she recalled that “social development is among the priorities of the President of the Republic’s program, which places the citizen, particularly vulnerable categories, at the heart of the State’s concerns.”
Ms. Krikou also expressed her thanks to the President of the Republic for the renewed confidence in her person and her appointment as Minister of Relations with Parliament, wishing Ms. Mouloudji every success in her new functions.
