The musical icon of the 60s was eighty years old and had been battling cancer for several years. A disappearance which caused a wave of melancholy and tribute in France. Several celebrities and fans shared their sadness on social networks. But it is for his only son, Thomas Dutronc, that the ordeal is the most difficult. The singer, particularly close to his mother, is overwhelmed by grief but he has still decided to maintain his performance at the Jazz Opale festival, in Neufchpatel-Hardelot, in Pas-de-Calais. The day before his performance, the organization of the event had confirmed his arrival.
