CHRONICLE – To avoid leaving Donald Trump with the electoral argument of the influx of migrants from the South, the American president is strengthening his border with Mexico.
The day before he left for his five-day state visit to France with the intention of talking about other things, Joe Biden signed a decree closing the door to illegal immigrants and asylum seekers who flock to his Mexican border. He would have preferred not to have to. But we are now five months before the American presidential election, and he cannot leave the immigration argument to his opponent, Donald Trump. And yet, having just been elected president of the United States, he was careful not to make it a major subject.
He said it again, this June 4, in his message to the Americans: “Immigration has always been the lifeblood of America. I will never report her.
