The Red Star – ESTAC match was disrupted by Red Star supporters by bullets being thrown onto the pitch. They denounce the desire of broadcasters to play Ligue 2 matches during the week.

Shortly before the half-hour mark, certain members of the ultras kop of the Seine-Saint-Denis club threw tennis balls onto the pitch, forcing the referee to intervene. Before that, the official had already briefly paused the match, for the same reason.
Against holding Ligue 2 matches during the week
Red Star supporters, like others in Ligue 2, are campaigning against the scheduling of Ligue 2 matches on Friday evenings by the broadcaster, beIN Sports. In this sense, the protests started before the bullets were thrown. A banner ” LFP/beIN/Qatar: Let's end the Sheikhs' game” was deployed.
