Specialized in home servicesthe Oui Care group is celebrating 20 years of its establishment in Le Mans (), after an adventure that began with a first O2 agency in .

Its boss, Guillaume Richard, discusses the prospects and ambition for the coming years.

The group wants to be the number 1 in home services in the world

The one who readily describes himself as “a bit of a megalomaniac” has the ambition to make the Oui Care group the world number 1 of the sector. “At the time, we had the objective of becoming the French leader in 10 years, the European leader in 20 years and the world leader in 30 years,” explains Guillaume Richard.

In two decades, the company has spread the number of brands which it includes until reaching the number of 16 (Apef, Autonomia, O2, Les Petits Bilingues…). It is already present abroad, notably in Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Senegal and Ivory Coast.

To support this ambition, the CEO decided to open up the capital to “give the financial capacity to plan ahead”.

Even if it means no longer being majority ? “In the shareholding, we will have the choice of partner. If the partner is great, I'm ready to put myself aside. »

Someone who describes himself as “pragmatic” says he does not want to develop for the sake of developing. “We refuse to project ourselves elsewhere, in another country, if we have not found people who share our values ​​and our vision,” he assures.

For the rest, “there will be opportunities for redemptions and franchises grow naturally. Regarding the support of elderly people in , we are considering structuring the senior center. »

From 30 to 23,000 employees

Coming from Lille, Guillaume Richard set up Oui Care's head office in Le Mans, in the Montéhard area at the start of the 2004 school year, before the group moved into brand new premises next to the station in March 2021.

In the space of 20 years, the company (with a mission, since this year) has multiplied by 2000 its turnover increasing from 250,000 euros to 500 million euros.

At the same time, the group has become a major provider of jobs. “We had 30 employees and we created 20,000 jobsin France and 3,000 internationally,” says Guillaume Richard, who continues by diverting Jacques Séguéla.

For this, the group also relies on the formation. He created his own CFA in 2022 and has had an internal training organization, the Academy of Personal Services, for 16 years.
