On Saturday November 9, 2024 at 7 p.m., the Ligue 1 match between the Lens and Nantes teams will take place at the Bollaert-Delelis stadium.
In order to guarantee the smooth running of this meeting, as well as the safety of people and in agreement with the leaders of the two clubs, Jacques Billant, prefect of Pas-de-Calais, decided by decree of November 5, 2024 attached, to take measures to control the movement of Nantes supporters applicable from Friday November 8 at 6 p.m. to Sunday November 10 at 2 a.m.:
- supporters of the Nantes Football Club (FC Nantes) who have reserved an entry ticket to the stadium and traveling by bus must go at 4 p.m. to a meeting point set at the Cressonnière area (near Thélus) on the A26, in the Troyes-Calais direction, from which they will be accompanied by the police to reach the stadium. At the end of the match, they will be escorted and escorted to the highway.
- Nantes supporters traveling individually must go directly to the visitors’ car park (P10)
- Nantes supporters authorized to travel will not be able to claim the status of Nantes supporter or behave as such within the perimeter defined by the prefectural decree and in the Bollaert-Delelis stadium, outside the sector reserved for them.
- Any person claiming to be a supporter of FC Nantes or behaving as such, even though they do not have a ticket, will be prohibited from entering the Bollaert-Delelis stadium in Lens, from driving or parking on the road. public within the perimeter defined by the prefectural decree.
- In the enclosure and around the stadium, within the perimeter described by the prefectural decree, the possession, transport and use of all firecrackers or smoke bombs, flags and banners whose inscriptions call for provocation will also be prohibited. , violence or hatred, as well as any objects that could be used as a projectile. The possession and transport of all alcoholic beverages will also be prohibited.
Failure to comply with these measures is punishable by six months' imprisonment and a fine of €30,000. In the event of conviction, the additional penalty of a one-year stadium ban is mandatory, unless there is a specially reasoned decision to the contrary.
The prefect of Pas-de-Calais calls on Nantes and Lens supporters to show respect for each other and to honor the common values included in the notion “ d’sportsmanship »,has namely tolerance, integration, respect, fair play and non-violence. The fervor initiated by this match should not make us forget the rules and responsibilities of each person. No form of violence is acceptable.
