Following the meeting at the Ministry of the Interior, Paris Saint-Germain will take measures to prevent its ultras from deploying a tifo like that of last Wednesday during the Champions League match.
As a witness to the meeting explained to us, it is an exchange “constructive” of more than an hour and a half which took place between Paris Saint-Germain and the authorities. Through the voice of its general director, Victoriano Melero and that of Michel Besnard, director of security, PSG recalled how the club works in terms of managing its supporters. They then presented all the measures already taken by the club in recent years.
Facing the Secretary of State in charge of the fight against discrimination, Othman Nasrou, but also the Minister of Sports Gil Avérous and the Prefect of Police Laurent Nunez, PSG announced that it would prohibit Collectif Ultras Paris from accessing the Parc des Princes outside of match days for an indefinite period. In addition, according to our information, the club is currently considering a validation process for tifos before the matches.
After the presentation of these new measures, PSG committed to guaranteeing the principle of neutrality in its stadium while recalling that the Parc des Princes remains a place of common passion for football.
