Several anonymous racist text messages were sent to African-American people in several American states after the election of Donald Trump.

The sender, or senders, of these messages is not known, but the Federal Police (FBI) said they were “aware” of this campaign “Racist text messages”for which investigations by different agencies have been opened.

According to the NAACP, one of the main organizations defending the rights of African-Americans, black residents of North Carolina, Virginia, Alabama and Pennsylvania received messages asking them to “show up at a plantation to pick cotton”a reference to the country’s slavery past.
