Which books from this literary season won over the juries of the various prizes? “Télérama” brings together the selections and the first winners.

Lhe literary prize season has launched. The 2023 vintage was marked by great texts by female writers (Neige Sinno, Laure Murat, Maria Pourchet, etc.) and some cautious choices. The lists of authors will first multiply before being refined during the fall to designate only a handful of winners. An update on the books that have attracted attention, and the first awards.
Flora Prize
The Flore Prize was awarded on Thursday November 7 to Benjamin Stock for his first novel, Marca wacky critique of conspiracy theory based on the novels of Marc Levy. He won with eleven votes to one for Joy Majdalani, who was one of the finalists for Jessica alone in a room (Grasset).
Medici Prize
Julia Deck won the Medici Prize for her autobiographical novel Ann of England (Threshold). Guatemalan writer Eduardo Halfon was awarded in the foreign novel category with Tarantula (Quai Voltaire). Reiner Stach, Kafka's German biographer, was crowned in the essay category, with Kafka (tome 3), The years of youth (Le Cherche-Midi).

Femina Prize
Miguel Bonnefoy was rewarded Tuesday November 5 for The Jaguar's Dream (Rivages), while Alia Trabucco Zerán was crowned in the foreign novel category for Own (Robert Laffont) and Paul Audi, for Stand your ground (Stock), in the essay category.

Goncourt Prize
On November 4, the Goncourt academy rewarded Kamel Daoud for Houris (Gallimard)

Renaudot Prize
For novels, the prize was awarded on November 4 to Gaël Faye for Jacaranda (Grasset), while the Renaudot essay prize was awarded to Sébastien Lapaque for Checkmate in paradise, at Actes Sud.
December Price
It was awarded on October 30 to Abdellah Taïa for The Bastion of Tears (Julliard)
Grand prize for the novel of the French Academy
It was awarded this Thursday, October 24 to Miguel Bonnefoy for The Jaguar's Dream (Shore)
