It is rare, outside of rainy days, for traffic jams to explode on the roads of Île-de-France on Sundays in the middle of the afternoon, especially when it is not the end of vacation or a long weekend. However, this is the case this Sunday June 9, 2024 with until 140 kilometers of slowdowns recorded by Sytadin around Paris, a level considered “exceptional” for the period. And traffic therefore made very difficult.
Joe Biden returns to the United States
The police headquarters had warned: Joe Biden’s return to Orly airport in order to return to the United States risked complicating traffic as was the case all week. Several reported breakdowns did not help the situation.
