The day of June 7 was punctuated by rebellion affairs. Friday afternoon a 21-year-old young man, originally from Avignon, was arrested in Villeneuve-sur-Lot by the police. Officials had been called to a dispute that had just brewed in an apartment. The accused rebelled and three police officers who were forced to control him were injured during the intervention. They have between 5 and 6 days of ITT. The person concerned is summoned to a CRPC hearing (appearance on prior admission of guilt) next October for rebellion.

He gives the police a hard time

In Sauveterre-la-Lémance, also on Friday, the gendarmes intervened in the context of an argument which broke out between two families. When the soldiers arrived, the situation was tense, even confused. A 38-year-old individual who lives in Fumel is present on the scene. He immediately appears angry, he doesn’t understand what the police came to do there. Quite excited, outrages are directed towards the soldiers, he rebels and flees. But he is quickly caught up. The gendarmes note that the belligerent came with his own car from Fumel, despite a cancellation of his driving license notified by court decision in November 2023. Once he arrived at the hospital as part of the usual procedure, he categorically refused to submit to alcohol and drug testing. Well known to the services and having a criminal record, he will be tried on Monday in immediate appearance for all of these offenses.
