Numerous workshops and conferences will be offered this Saturday, June 8 to lovers of gentle therapies as well as the curious.

The ARCB association, the Saint-Sulpice town hall and the media library are organizing the well-being day in Saint-Sulpice on Saturday June 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. On the program, workshops, conferences, stands, initiations and conferences on all types of gentle therapies, which can bring comfort and well-being on a daily basis. There will obviously be the “classics”, such as sophrology, tai chi, or even yoga, but also many others much more exotic. Vinyasa yoga, for example, is a dynamic style of yoga which consists of chaining postures to the rhythm of your breathing. The word vinyasa means “specific placement” in Sanskrit, and refers to the synchronization of movement and breathing. Vinyasa yoga is also called “flow” yoga because it creates a flow of energy that connects the postures together. Another discipline that will be presented is Chinese energetics. Behind this name hides an entire system of understanding the body according to a vital energy nourishing our organs and vital functions as well as our emotions and behavior. This has given rise to various systems of medical care, the best known in the West being acupuncture, in an often family tradition passed down from generation to generation for millennia. You will also be able to learn more about Ericksonian hypnosis, which is today the most influential and widespread trend in therapeutic hypnosis, in practices and training institutes. Unlike classic hypnosis, in which the practitioner dictates to the patient the solutions to his problem, Ericksonian hypnosis places the patient at the heart of the healing process: it is up to him to find the solutions that suit him best, the practitioner being in a support process. We therefore move from a passive posture to an active posture, in which language plays a preponderant role.

All public, free upon registration. The program is available on the website: www.saintsulpicelapointe.fr, or on 05 63 40 20 81.
