Is Jean-Paul on the wrong track?

Jean-Paul and Patrick inform Meïline Liao that several investigations carried out by Abdel seem to reveal murders rather than suicides. The police believe that someone wanted to silence the jeweler because he knew the identity of the person who ordered the pendants.

Samuel tells Thomas that he cannot talk to him about the ongoing investigation. When Barbara arrives at Mistral and asks him questions about Denis and Abdel, Samuel ends up giving her some leads that they have at the police station. Barbara thanks him.

Jean-Paul questions Madame Valence, who tells him that she is convinced that her husband did not die of natural causes. She says that one of his colleagues poisoned his life and that he could no longer sleep. It was a certain Titouan, who claimed that the promotion should have gone to her and not to her husband. She also admits that her former companion took anxiolytics.

Jean-Paul summons the father of Mickaël Delpierre, who had a dispute with Vanessa Kepler. He dropped the charges against her for wrongful termination because he couldn’t prove she was the one who kicked him out. Jean-Paul then asks him if the pendant found in Abdel’s trunk reminds him of anything. Samuel comes to find Jean-Paul and tells him that he does not understand why he was summoned to the police station. Samuel thinks that Jean-Paul brought him only to take revenge for a case concerning his daughter, but Jean-Paul assures him that that is not the reason.

Meiline summons Jean-Paul and Samuel to her office, where they explain to her that there are four pendants that have been created. The one found in the chest put aside, there were three pendants and three suicides.

Matteo tells Ophélie that it was not him who gave her the pendant. He asks her if she’s sure he was good for him.

Lucie threatens Mickaël

Lucie sees a knife in the kitchen, grabs it and hides it in her bag. Léa asks her if everything is going better at school and the young girl assures her that yes.

Mickaël comes to harass Lucie again, who takes out her knife and threatens him with it.

Apolline investigates

Apolline confides to Nisma that she is convinced that Ulysses has lost someone. Nisma advises her to offer her condolences, but Apolline says that to be credible, she must know who has died around her.

Apolline calls all the people appearing in the newspaper’s obituaries page and offers her condolences, making people believe that the deceased often visited the office, in order to find out who is the person that Ulysses lost.

Ulysse receives a call from a certain Madame Allouin, who tells him that her firm tried to approach her to become a client of theirs. Ulysses also finds the newspaper with the death notices under Apolline’s desk. He thinks Apolline tried to contact widows and widowers to get inheritance matters to deal with. Apolline then explains to him that she did this to understand why he was sad when reading this page.

Apolline confides to Nisma that behind the obituaries page, there is a page focused on marriages. She then thinks that the Source of Ulysses’ sadness surely comes from the marriage of a certain Julie.
