Patrick Bevin will no longer be present in the professional peloton next year. The 33-year-old New Zealander, who had not raced in recent months, is definitely putting an end to his career. THE Team dsm-firmenich PostNL announced it on social networks.

Under contract until the end of 2025…

Bevin raced at Continental level from 2010, before joining the WorldTour in 2016 by signing a contract with Cannondale-Drapac. Subsequently, he also evolved at BMC Racing, CCC, Israel-Premier Tech and, since 2023, at Team dsm-firmenich PostNL. Although he signed with the Dutch team until the end of 2025, he will not finish his contract and is hanging up his bike.

In total, Bevin won ten professional victories. Before reaching the highest level, he had already won stages on theHerald Sun Tourthe Taiwan Tour and the Korea Tour. Subsequently, he won two titles in the time trial of the New Zealand Championships (2016 and 2019), a stage victory on the Santos Tour Down Under (2019), two stages and the general classification of the Tour of Türkiye (2022), as well as a stage victory on the Tour of Romandy (2022). The last time Bevin pinned a bib dating back to March 18, 2024. He had started the 1st stage of the Tour of Cataloniawhich he did not finish.
