On May 1, 2024 in Paris, LPG was at the center of discussions during the global summit on clean cooking in Africa, with French President Emmanuel Macron. The President of the Togolese Republic has expressed his commitment to promoting carbon credits in Africa, noting that Africa could generate around two-thirds of the reduction in greenhouse gas emissions through the shift to clean cooking.
