Involved in a car accident on Wednesday June 5 in Saint-Martin-de-Valgégales, a mother is suspected of driving without a license. Explanations.

The gendarmes have opened an investigation to clarify the causes of a road accident which occurred on Wednesday June 5 around 5:30 p.m. in Saint-Martin-de-Valgégales. For reasons that are still unclear, two cars collided and the violence of the collision required the intervention of firefighters and police. On site, emergency services discovered two damaged vehicles, including a lady who was trapped in her car, deformed by the violence of the impact, in the other vehicle, the soldiers noticed that the occupants had left the scene.

After checks, they understood that the driver was taken to hospital by a third person. On site, the gendarmes collected the first elements from the driver who spontaneously admitted that she was driving without a driving license and therefore without insurance. She allegedly borrowed her brother’s car to initially transport one of her children to the hospital because his condition warranted an urgent medical examination.

Meanwhile, emergency services managed to extricate the other accident victim from the pile of metal sheets and transfer him to hospital. Concerning the mother and her five children, two suffered minor injuries. She could be heard as part of an investigation into driving without a license.
