A family dogged by tragedy. Sunday June 2 in Wasilla (Alaska), Timothy Hoffman was killed after losing control of his motorcycle. The 58-year-old American, who was not wearing a helmet, died of his injuries in hospital. In the back seat was his wife Barbara “Jeanie,” who was treated in critical condition. She suffered a fractured skull and her back and several bones were broken. The fifty-year-old will have to undergo several operations essential to her recovery.

This tragedy takes on a particularly dramatic resonance, because it occurred during a motorcycle parade marking the five years since the death of Cynthia, the daughter of Timothy and Jeanie. On each anniversary of this tragedy, the bereaved father honored the memory of his child in this way. It was the first time that Jeanie took part in this rally on her husband’s two-wheeler, specifies the “Anchorage Daily News”.

Cynthia Hoffman died on June 2, 2019, the victim of a sponsored murder against the backdrop of an online scam involving her best friend, Denali Brehmer. She had started a virtual relationship with a certain Darin Schilmiller, who said his name was Tyler, an alleged millionaire from Kansas. The individual promised Denali $9 million if she killed someone and sent him photos and video of the murder.

Along with her friend Kayden McIntosh, Denali kidnapped Cynthia and took photos of her tied up with duct tape. Kayden then shot the victim in the head and Denali pushed his body into the river. For this crime, Cynthia’s best friend received 99 years in prison, as did Darin Schilmiller. The third person involved will learn their fate in November.

“It seems too implausible to be true. Tim passed away on the fifth anniversary of Cynthia’s murder. I hope his family and friends take comfort in remembering that Tim died doing something he loved, with people he loved, in memory of someone he loved,” Patrick responded. McKay, the prosecutor in charge of the case.
