And Albatros, which has a turnover of 8 million euros in 2023, has the creation of new agencies in its pipeline, in Finistère and in the East of France. Ambitions commensurate with a 10% increase in activity last year, with the same trend in 2024. “This requires us to structure ourselves. We feel that we are in a pivotal year, and we need to bring in other skills,” says Claire D’Huyvetter. And the company is recruiting, both for the administration sector and for production, not to mention its core business, orthoprosthetists, with a strong internal training policy.
“Relationships with customers, as well as people, remain essential at Albatros”
Meeting individuals
The uniqueness of Albatros France is to reach out to individuals, to whom it travels with a specially equipped truck, but also to centers and hospitals. “We carry out assessments and measurements on site, and the foam is milled immediately in our trucks, to be ready an hour later. We are the only ones in France to do this. We are also pioneers in foam positioning,” adds Claire D’Huyvetter.
Relationships with customers, as well as people, remain essential at Albatros. For example, we call on an illustrator to embellish the aesthetics of the cases, and give them an appearance that promotes their acceptance by young people. A position of innovation manager is also being developed, in order to carry out Albatros' numerous projects, to soar ever higher.
