Seen in the stands of Roland-Garros, what happens to Jade Lagardère?

The wife of the current leader of the Lagardère group was seen in the stands of Roland-Garros this Tuesday, June 4, while her husband was indicted for “dissemination of false or misleading information, vote buying, misuse of property social and abuse of power and non-filing of accounts” in April. What becomes of her?

Thirteen years ago, Jade Foret, a 20-year-old Belgian model, appeared for the first time at Roland-Garros, on the arm of Arnaud Lagardère, the extremely wealthy director of the French media group Lagardère. Over the years, the young woman – now married to the boss of the CAC 40 – has become a regular here. This June 4, 2024, she was seen in the stands of the Cours Philippe Chartier for the match between the Italian Jannik Sinner and the Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov.

Now aged 33, the Belgian model was accompanied by her sister, Cassandra Foret, herself in a relationship with Alexandre Lagardère, the eldest son of Arnaud Lagardère. They welcomed their first child in 2018, of whom Jade Lagardère is godmother, aunt and in a way grandmother… Are you following?

For her part, Jade Lagardère had three children, from her relationship with the owner of the Lagardère group: Liva (11 years old), Mila (10 years old) and Nolan (8 years old). The model very regularly shares photos of her children on her social networks, among other publications of her modeling activity.

Model and comic book artist

In parallel with her career in modeling, Jade Lagardère presents herself as a creator and screenwriter on her social networks. She is notably the author of an adventure comic strip whose heroine, Amber Blake, defends abused children. The third and final volume was published in January 2022.

“Since I was little, I have loved writing,” she confided to The Parisian in 2017, when the first issue was published. (…) On Wednesdays, I went to my grandmother’s and, with my cousin, we wrote little scripts that we had fun acting out. (…) The rhythm of the comic, full of twists and turns, suited me.” Since then, the comic has been adapted into a virtual reality experience in the German amusement park, Europa Park.

Are Arnaud and Jade Lagardère still together?

If the 33-year-old young woman regularly gives her news, via photos of her ski vacations, her meals at restaurants or her children, one person seems absent from her social networks: her husband. Since their debut in 2011, the couple has been talking: she is 20 years old and measures 1m82, he is 50 and does not exceed 1m70. “Since our first appearance at Roland Garros, we have received a lot of publicity. Sometimes good, sometimes bad, Arnaud Lagardère confided. But that doesn’t change anything about our feelings, on the contrary, it strengthens them.” Since the birth of their last child in 2016, radio silence, except during very rare public statements about their family life.

But there was a twist on July 29, 2019, when Jade Lagardère claimed in a question and answer on Instagram to be single, before immediately retracting by publishing a denial and then deleting it. It was enough to fuel divorce rumors.

If we rely on her husband’s Instagram account, himself in the middle of a legal battle, everything seems to be going well in his heart. “The One and Only” (the one and only, in French), he wrote in August 2023, under a photo of his wife published on his account.
