Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface was the victim of a minor road accident, he announced on Sunday, posting photos of his badly damaged car on his Instagram account, four days before facing in Champions League. “God is the greatest” and “God has decided that my time has not come,” commented the Nigerian player in a post on his Instagram account, which he illustrated with two photos and two videos before deleting it .

In one of the photos, Boniface is seen with the comment “God is greatest.” The right front of his car appears torn and the roof slightly sunken in a photo of the report drawn up by the region’s emergency services and on a video taken by the player, with the comment “God said that my time was not not come.” On a video, we see him with his left hand bloody.

Before going to to face Brest in the Champions League with Bayer Leverkusen, Victor Boniface scored the winning goal on Saturday afternoon against Eintracht Frankfurt (2-1) which allows his team to stay at three points from the leading duo of Bayern and Leipzig.
