A gas leak broke out this Saturday, October 19, rue de la Poissonnerie in . Part of Georges-Clemenceau Boulevard is closed to traffic.

Emergency services have been mobilized since the end of the morning this Saturday, October 19 for a gas leak which broke out on rue de la Poissonnerie in Bourges.

The origin of this leak has not yet been detected. The entire street is therefore closed and traffic is closed in both directions on Boulevard Georges-Clemenceau, at Place Gordaine.

Twenty firefighters are mobilized as well as GRDF teams who also check the rainwater and wastewater networks.

Around forty people were evacuated and could be supported for rehousing by the town hall, if the closure were to last.
