The Frenchwoman Cassandre Beaugrand, gold medalist in the triathlon at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, has just received a Lapierre Xelius DRS decorated with gold leaf! The cosmetics of the monocoque carbon frame are distinguished by the combination of paint imitating white marble and, therefore, gold leaf. A priori, no marketing – in limited series – seems planned… Too bad!
The French triathlete, Cassandre Beaugrand, has been riding Lapierre bikes since 2020. It is therefore with machines from the Dijon brand that she completed the entire journey, which allowed her to climb the ranks of world triathlon, up to her coronation at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Currently, she is using a Lapierre Xelius DRS… Following her gold medal, she has just received the said model, specially decorated. Thus, the frame is decorated with real gold leaves, symbolizing said medal. In addition, we find the mention “Queen Cass”, which highlights her new status.
A bike with a strong influence
Cassandre Beaugrand is the first Olympic gold medalist in individual triathlon in the history of French sport. Following this coronation, she is known – and recognized – for her sporting performances, but also for her influence in the discipline.
From now on, it is her “special” bike, the “Queen Cass” which could well make her recognized in the triathlons in which she participates, here and there around the world. Sure that this unique decoration will give ideas to Lapierre Xelius DRS owners!

With two victories in WTCS (the women’s world Triathlon circuit) and this Olympic title, Cassandre Beaugrand is now at the top of the world rankings for her sport (or more precisely her sports!). And that’s not surprising!
This Saturday, October 19, in Torremolinos (Spain) the Frenchwoman will not spit on the title of WTCS world champion. She has the ability to achieve her goal and finish, with fanfare, a golden season (if you allow me that – good – word) and already a great success!
She will be, as you have understood, at the start of the event. After swimming, she will ride this new “Queen Cass” bike. Will this superb decoration give it wings, like a famous energy drink? We can only wish it… As we can wish, the production of a limited series “Queen Cass”!!!
