Soon a convenience store in the former premises of the gendarmerie in Ecos? This is what the town hall of Vexin-sur-Epte (Eure) hopes to give a boost to the town center which benefits from a commercial offer still restricted.

In order to find the best possible project, it was voted, during the last municipal council, to launch a call for projects for premises located at 19, Grande rue. Beforehand, elected officials voted for the decommissioning of public property, allowing a commercial lease to be established for the future project leader.

A building on three levels

Until then, the building corresponded to the annex offices of the municipality. The call for projects concerns the ground floor of 115 m² including a reception, three offices, a meeting room, toilets and two former security rooms which have become technical premises.

An annex, formerly a garage, is also included in the call for projects. The building also has two floors.

“The implementation project focuses on the ground floor of the premises and the annex. However, if an interesting project includes the upper floors, it may be considered to include the latter for rental, either for business or for housing. The offers may also include proposals for development work on the premises, the annex or both at the expense of the lessee. »

Angélina Bylykbashi, trade assistant

The rent will amount to 900 euros and the lease will extend over three years with the possibility of having successive leases within these three years.
