We can say that Renault knows how to handle the art of teasing… The car manufacturer has finally revealed the prices for two of its models of its high-end electric Renault 5: the Techno and the Iconic Cinq. We will still have to wait to find out the entry ticket for its other versions, including its highly anticipated model at 25,000 euros excluding ecological bonus.

Techno version: a more affordable high-end model

The first price revealed by Renault concerns the Techno version of the Renault 5 E-Tech. This is now available from 33,490 euros excluding ecological bonus. It is equipped with a 52 kWh battery, promising a range of 410 km according to the WLTP cycle, as well asa 150 hp enginesuitable for both daily city trips and longer distances.

This version includes 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic high beams, lane keeping assist and adaptive cruise control. Its Open R Link multimedia system integrates Google services, accessible via a 10-inch touch screen. An inductive smartphone charger and an 11 kW three-phase AC on-board charger are also included. Renault has not skimped on its charging system either. The Techno version as well as its more high-end Iconic Cinq model, which we will talk about shortly after, both include an 11 kW three-phase, bi-directional AC integrated charger, enabling V2G (vehicle-to-grid) and V2L (vehicle-to-load) charging, with a DC fast charging capacity of 100 kW.

Iconic Cinq version: an even more luxurious model

For its even more high-end version of its electric Renault 5, theIconic Cinq, you will have to pay 35,490 euros excluding ecological bonus. In addition to the equipment of the Techno version, this model includes two-tone paint, heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.

This version also offers additional comfort to motorists, notably via the integration of a side parking assist and blind spot monitoring system. The Iconic Cinq also offers Level 2 semi-autonomous driving and a hands-free parking systemperfect for urban use and long-distance journeys.

What delivery times and prices with the ecological bonus?

The prices indicated are excluding ecological bonus. With the current bonus of 4,000 euros, the Techno version costs 29,490 euros and the Iconic Cinq at 31,490 euros.

The first deliveries will begin in December 2024 for R Pass holders, a pre-reservation option giving order priority until May 30, 2024. Other customers will have to wait until the end of January 2025 to receive their vehicle.

A model costing 25,000 euros by 2025

In 2025, Renault will launch a more affordable version of the Renault 5 E-Tech, equipped with a 40 kWh battery. This version, which promises a range of 300 km, will be offered from 25,000 euros excluding ecological bonus.

With the bonus, the price could go down to 21,000 euros, making this option very competitive, particularly compared to the Citroën ë-C3 which offers a slightly greater range (326 km) at 23,300 euros. This version will be offered withn engine of 95 or 120 hp. Note, however, that it will not have fast charging.

Other finishes and equipment to come

In 2025, the Renault 5 E-Tech range should expand with the Five and Evolution finishes, as well as a special Roland Garros series.

Details of these models will be announced soon, but given the breadth of its offering, it is clear that Renault aims to cover the entire market with its Renault 5 E-Tech range.
