No iPad 11 yet, but iPad 10 price is dropping

There will ultimately be no iPad 11 this fall, contrary to what multiple rumors have claimed in recent months. Apple indeed unveiled its iPad mini 7 this afternoon and the iPad 10 remained unchanged in the catalog. A sign that things won’t change for a while, Apple has revised the pricing of the iPad 10 today with a reduction of €30 on all configurations on the Apple Store. You can now get the tablet in the Wi-Fi version at €409 for 64 GB or €579 for 256 GB, and in the 5G version at €579 for 64 GB or €749 for 256 GB.

This little price boost is always good to take, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that the iPad 10 needs a hardware update: launched two years ago, it integrates an aging Apple A14 chip. In July, an iPad 11 equipped with the Apple A16 chip was spotted in Apple configuration files which also revealed the arrival of the A17 Pro chip on the iPad mini 7. So we know what’s going on. wait for the next revision, which should also bring compatibility with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. For the calendar, however, it will probably be for 2025, with fingers crossed that it will be towards the start of the year.

While waiting for the arrival of a new model, resellers are already offering prices that are slightly more attractive than those of Apple with prices that have been starting for some time at €399. With the implementation of Apple’s new official pricing, we can reasonably hope for small additional reductions during the end-of-year holidays. You can find all the configurations on our price comparison. If you are a student, teacher or school employee, you can also get the iPad 10 from €389 on the Apple Education Store.
