Honor has expanded its X series product line by launching two new phones, the X5b and X5b Plus. These two smartphones are already available for purchase in several Middle Eastern markets ( ). Honor’s new entry-level smartphones from Apple have more similarities than differences. However, the X5b Plus is slightly better than the vanilla variant thanks to a few improvements.

The HonorX5b and and 128 GB of storage space. This is an entry-level chipset from MediaTek, specially designed for entry-level smartphones.

Additionally, both phones feature the same 5,200mAh battery. Coming to memory, the X5b comes with a single 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, while the X5b Plus variant comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. Both feature a micro-SD card slot that allows you to expand storage up to 1TB.

Besides the battery, the Honor X5b Plus has a 50-megapixel primary sensor on the back. In comparison, the base X5b model has a smaller 13-megapixel main camera. However, both models feature the same 0.8MP secondary sensor for macro photos.

Despite most of the similarities between these two phones (in terms of design and specifications), the price difference is slightly high. The Honor X5b starts at $80 for the 4GB/64GB option, while the phones: Flowing Blue and Flowing Back. We don’t know when these two smartphones will be released in other markets.
