King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium left their luggage in France this Monday, October 14, until Wednesday, October 16. The last time the Belgian couple made this type of visit was when François Hollande was still president. A busy schedule awaits them during this stay.
In the early morning, the tandem arriving by Eurostar in Paris was awaited by the French presidential couple at the Élysée Palace before joining Michel Barnier and his wife for lunch. To welcome these distinguished guests, Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte opted for a matching navy blue look. The former literature teacher fell for a look in keeping with the fall season. On the program: a mid-length navy blue dress with a gathered collar topped with a purple jacket-style coat, subtly fitted at the waist and stopping mid-calf. To enhance her silhouette, Tiphaine and Laurence’s mother wore a pair of black pumps with pointed toes. In order to accessorize her look, Brigitte Macron revealed a silver ring on her right hand and a watch on her left wrist. Chic!

Queen Mathilde attracts all eyes with a seasonal monochrome look
If Brigitte Macron’s outfit won the hearts of fashionistas, Queen Mathilde also gave a very in-depth fashion lesson. First, she wore a tartan outfit from Natan on the TGV for her quick trip to Paris. Once arrived in the capital, the crowned head revealed a monochrome outfit playing on shades of red. She stood out in a two-piece Dior set composed of a Bar jacket, an architectural work, virtuoso myth and stylistic emblem of the House belted at the waist, as well as a subtly flared mid-length skirt. To enhance her look, she wore a very elegant felt hat. The distinguished guest also opted for sublime pleated gloves, a Lady Dior as well as a pair of pumps in the most trendy color of autumn-winter, burgundy, a shade close to aubergine or Bordeaux.
