While the treasure hunt for the “Golden Owl” ended at the beginning of October after 31 years of research, the man who held the solution has set an appointment in 2025 to reveal his solution.
The replica of this “Golden Owl” had been buried in a secret location in April 1993. Since then, hundreds of thousands of players from all over France, but also beyond our borders, have been looking to get their hands on it, from the 11 puzzles presented in the book “On the Trail of the Golden Owl” written by Régis Hauser.
Finding this replica guaranteed to win the famous owlsculpture weighing around ten kilos in precious metals and whose value was initially estimated at 150 000 euros.
At the beginning of October 2024, more than 31 years after being buried, the replica was found by a person or group who wishes keep anonymous. A film in preparation
The mystery of his location will soon end as Michel Becker promises to “reveal everything” to fans April 23 and 24, 2025date of 32e anniversary of the game.
