Michael Hage (again), Filip Mesar and Owen Beck stood out yesterday

Everyone was curious to see how Michael Hage would do in his first season in the NCAA.

Let’s say that for the moment, things are going really well.

The CH prospect, who was selected in the first round during the last draft, scored again yesterday: that now gives him three goals and as many assists in four games so far since the start of his season.

Michael Hage stands out with his offensive qualities.

We see why the Canadian liked him so much in the last draft because his intelligence on the ice allows him to create things.

He scores goals, he is capable of serving his teammates well… CH has a good one on its hands!

I can’t wait to see if he will be able to keep up the pace between now and the end of the season. If that’s the case, on the other hand… We could perhaps expect to see him make the jump to the pros after just one year at the university level.

Young people stand out in a Rocket defeat

The Rocket’s season started well with a victory Friday night.

But yesterday, it was more difficult for Pascal Vincent’s men.

The Canadian’s school club lost 3-1 in Springfield, but some of the club’s young players stood out.

From the lot?

I’m thinking of Owen Beck and Filip Mesar, who had an assist on Jared Davidson’s goal:

For Beck, it was a first point in the pros.

For Mesar… His assist collected yesterday now allows him to have four points (one goal) in just two games.

He produces at an interesting rate, especially in the context where his performance was disappointing when he played in junior in Kitchener.

It’s up to him to continue to do things the right way. Because obviously, it’s working at the moment!

Difficult evening at work for Jacob Fowler

When we talk about Jacob Fowler, usually, it’s always positive.

But the goalkeeper is human too.

That said, Fowler had a very rare bad night yesterday allowing four goals on the 25 shots he faced.

The Boston College team lost against Michigan State by a score of 4-3:

Note that this was a second match in as many evenings for Fowler.

The day before, Friday, he blanked Michigan State by stopping 24 shots.

That said, difficult matches for Fowler are so rare that we should not be alarmed by his poor performance last night.

It can happen, and it’s not like it’s common.

In burst

– Sick.

– Interesting :

– He is happy.

– I can’t wait to see this.
