The murder of a 27-year-old man caused great emotion in Eysines on May 6. Committed in broad daylight, around 6:30 p.m., in the parking lot of a convenience store, rue Gilbert-Caudéran, this crime looked like a settling of scores. A resident of Eysines, arriving by car for an appointment, was shot in the chest with a handgun.

Four months later, all the protagonists in this affair are behind bars. These are five men and one woman, arrested in two waves by investigators from the criminal brigade of the organized and specialized crime division (DCOS) of the Interdepartmental Judicial Police Service (SIPJ).

The suspected murderer, aged 44, was arrested in Sainte-Luce, , at the beginning of July. His accomplice, a 39-year-old man, was arrested at the same time in Teich. Indicted for attempted extortion with a weapon, illegal possession of a weapon and intentional homicide, they were placed in pre-trial detention.

Organized trafficking from prison

The investigations nevertheless continued because the investigators had elements confirming that the murder was linked to drug trafficking directed, from the -Vivonne penitentiary center, by a inmate sentenced to five years in prison. He passed his instructions via a Snapchat account.

The man killed was one of his small hands in the resale of cannabis and cocaine which irrigated the Bordeaux metropolis and the Arcachon basin. On the day of the incident, the transaction did not go as agreed and resulted in several gunshots.

On September 30, police officers from the criminal brigade arrested three men and a woman. The “lieutenant” who served as an intermediary in this traffic is a 20-year-old from Bordeaux, convicted and recently imprisoned after refusing to comply and a drug case. A 33-year-old resident of the Basin and a 28-year-old man ensured regular deliveries of products. The sponsor, also arrested, joined his accomplices in police custody. All were indicted for violating drug laws. They were imprisoned.
