“What’s the noise we hear above Lannion? » Internet users were curious to know the sound source that could be heard above the city and several other municipalities of Trégor since the end of the afternoon, this Thursday, October 10, 2024, until almost 22 30 p.m.

The answer came thanks to the Lannion Côte de Granit Rose airport which documented the passage of the plane responsible for this noise. This is a Hercules C-130 from the Air and Space Force, “came to carry out assault landing training exercises during the day but also at night”.

Lannion airport receives military planes quite regularly. The best known being those of the Patrouille de France, which provides the air show above Trestraou in Perros-Guirec.
