Ratan Tata passed awaythe entrepreneur who invented the most economical car in history (1500 euros). The government of Maharashtra decided to honor the Indian industrialist, who died yesterday at the age of 86 answith state funeral : at the ceremony, which will be held today at Mumbaiwill also participate the Minister ofInterior Amit Shahrepresenting the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Prime Minister – who is on his way to Laosfor the leaders’ summit AseanInde et East Asia – recalled the tycoon who transformed the Tata Group into a global economic power by calling him a “visionary leader, compassionate soul and extraordinary human being”.

Messages of condolence for the death of the captain of industry and philanthropist have arrived from all political leaders Indians and personalities of whole world. One of the most influential industrialists in the world, Rattan Dad controlled more than 30 companies in 100 countries around the worldbut was known for his discreet lifestyle, and defined as a secular saint for her proverbial integrity.

In addition to his extraordinary successes as an entrepreneur, Tata was known for philanthropic activities he promoted through the Tata Trustsschools at the prestigious Tata Institute for social sciencesand in which he was often personally involved.

The empire he created extends from automobilesof which he owns, among other things, the brands Jaguar and Land Roverjewelry, airlines(the group owns the luxury low-cost airline Vistara and Air India, the former national airline recently reacquired), to luxury restaurants and hotel chains like the Tajfrom mining to steel, from electronic products to teas, to services and insurance.
