A thorough investigation made it possible to identify the suspects and to understand the nature of the dispute, namely a territorial conflict between urban gangs, involving drug traffickers.

Analysis of cell phones was able to provide additional evidence, leading to the arrest of other members of the gang.
On October 4, the Brussels Criminal Court sentenced nine members of the gang to prison terms ranging from 40 months to 6 years, as well as significant fines of between 8,000 and 20,000 euros.
