THE football reunion between Saint-Jean-d’Assé and The Bazoge were eagerly awaited, Sunday October 6, 2024.

The Asséens or unfailing combativeness

Slight favorites on paper, the visitors were not up to the task even if they were often the ones who had possession of the green rectangle. But the Asséens, thanks to unfailing combativeness under the eyes of Bryan Lucas and Sylvain Betton, put in the necessary ingredients to win the three points.

Three valuable points

Corentin Guillamet opened the scoring by exploiting an error from the goalkeeper (1-0). Kylian Divaret doubled the score before Thibault Bobet completely threw the visitors into the ropes (3-0). Stunned, the Bazogians tried to put their heads back together after the lemons. Captain Florian Pitussi’s goal from the penalty spot as well as the 57 minutes of playing time in the second half did not upset the turn of events: the Asséens, back in D1, pocketed three precious points at home in the race to maintain (3 -1).

La Bazoge must recover against Allonnes

As for the Bazogiens, they will have to show a completely different face for the Allonnes reception in 10 days. Under penalty, perhaps, of having to revise their ambitions downwards.
