Audi continues to accelerate its transition to electric by unveiling its new A6 e-tron. Available in Sportback sedan and Avant station wagon versions, this ninth generation is based on the PPE platform dedicated to 100% electric vehicles.
Equipped with a battery of 100 kWhthe 367 hp version announces an autonomy of 750 km in WLTP cycle. Thanks to the 800V architecture, the 100 kWh battery can be recharged with a maximum power of 270 kW. This allows you to move from 10% to 80% charge in 21 minutes.
At the other end of the range and for performance enthusiasts, the S6 e-tron de 503 ch uses two electric motors and quattro all-wheel drive. It announces 676 km while its 270 kW fast charging allows you to recover 310 km in 10 minutes.
Range and price
The Audi A6 e-tron is available in several versions, each with distinct engines and trim levels. Here are the details of the main configurations available from launch:
- Audi A6 e-tron Sportback Design Performance : proposed to 77 170 €it is equipped with a 367 hp electric motor, capable of reaching a maximum range of 750 km in the WLTP cycle.
- Audi A6 Avant e-tron Design Performance : for the station wagon, the range drops slightly to 713 km, for a price of 78 670 €.
- Audi A6 e-tron Sportback S line Performance : has 84 060 €this version has similar specifications in terms of power and autonomy, with a more assertive style.
- Audi S6 e-tron Sportback : the sports version has 503 hp thanks to a twin-engine configuration and quattro all-wheel drive, with a price that reaches 105 020 €. The S6 Avant e-tron station wagon is available at 106 520 €.
To somewhat democratize its offer, Audi is also announcing future versions with an 83 kWh battery, offering powers of 285 hp and less autonomy, which will complete the range.
Also, the manufacturer offers offers dedicated to professionals, with a rental price starting from €890/month over 37 months and 30,000 km, without contribution.
Configurations et options
Various options are available, such as the winter pack billed at €910, including the heated steering wheel, four heated seats and comfort air conditioning when stationary. The body color chart allows you to choose metallic colors for an additional €1,250. The 19-inch rims, supplied as standard, can be replaced by 20-inch models, at an additional cost of €1,000 or €1,350 depending on the design selected.
Inside, four types of leather or imitation leather are available (gray, beige, black or brown) for a cost varying between €2,200 and €2,500. The steering wheel can be equipped with paddles for €150, or replaced by a sporty model with flat top and bottom for €380. Furthermore, the arrival of the electric Audi A6 does not yet lead to the end of the thermal version launched in 2018 and restyled in 2022.
The latter remains in the catalog with a starting price of €60,120 for the sedan version with trunk and €63,050 for the station wagon version, both equipped with a 163 hp diesel engine. The Audi A6 is also available in Allroad quattro, TFSI e and S6 and RS6 plug-in hybrid versions.
