Below, the press release from the organizers of this march:

The associations: All October 7, Israel, LICRA and ACID come together to call all Dijon residents to a march at 6:30 p.m. Place Darcy for the 101 hostages still held by Hamas. The marchers will go to Liberation Square where speeches of support will be given. A year after their kidnapping by a terrorist organization, 101 hostages are still being held in Gaza, despite fundamental rights. Among them, two French people, and nationals of 19 countries. So that they do not fall into oblivion, the members of the “All October 7” association have been posting their portraits in France and all over the world since October 2023.

In Dijon on October 7, we will affirm that the cause of the hostages transcends nationalities and religions. It is a humanitarian cause on which we invite all Dijon residents committed to the defense of human rights to join us. Hamas, a terrorist organization, is still holding women and even two children, Ariel and Kfir Bibas, who are only 5 and one year old, kidnapped with their mother on October 7. Following the pogrom of October 7, anti-Semitic acts increased in France by more than 1000%. They now represent 57% of all racist and anti-religious attacks in France while Jews account for less than 1% of the population. We must react to this hatred which resurfaces after the massacres of October 7.
