Friday October 4, a man in his thirties was shot several times while driving his car, before it crashed into a school, according to Provence. But the most surprising thing is the profile of the suspect, arrested a few minutes after the murder: a 14-year-old teenager.
The wrong target?
According to information collected by BFMTV, the very young hitman, recruited on social networks, was denounced by… the person who ordered the murder. Claiming to be part of the famous “DZ mafia”, a Marseille drug trafficking organization, the man is currently serving a prison sentence in the Aix-Luynes penitentiary center. He would have chosen to notify the police out of dissatisfaction with the work done by the young killer he hired. He thus indicated to the police the identity of the young man and his location after the shooting.

Another incongruity of the case, if the sponsor mainly blames the suspect for not having burned the victim’s car after the act, it would seem that he was unaware that the person shot was not the target he had designated. The VTC driver of Comorian origin, already dead when the Marseille firefighters arrived on site, was not the original objective of the score settling ordered by the man in prison.
The revenge was to respond to the assassination of a man in the northern districts of Marseille on the night of Tuesday October 2 to Wednesday October 3. But the 14-year-old boy allegedly shot the driver following a personal dispute during a race. The suspect, who lives in Avignon, is currently in police custody. His profile would correspond to the new habits of the “DZ mafia”, which would hire more and more minors through Snapchat, in particular because the sentences they incur are shorter. The public prosecutor of Marseille must speak tomorrow morning on the case.
