One Sunday in September, Lilou decides to leave to move to . While crossing the national 145 towards Guéret (Creuse), the young woman lost control of her vehicle. The car rolls several times before ending up in a ravine.

Lilou is in shock, but unhurt. She manages to get out of her vehicle, and a motorist who witnessed the accident stops to help her. After the shock and the fear of being injured, the young woman only thinks of one thing: her cat, Bagheera, who was also part of the trip. Impossible to find the feline, which fled in panic.

As reported by Bleu, Lilou put all the means at her disposal to find her faithful companion, black and slender, aged six, whom she considers as her child and who accompanies her everywhere.

A call on social networks

The owner of Bagheera launches a call for help on France Bleu Creuse. “I will only be okay when I find her,” she then declared. The site of the accident, near the Espérance area, makes Lilou want to believe it: “Is it a sign? (…) She must be hiding somewhere, I am counting on the inhabitants of Creuse to help me,” she confided.

Moved by this story, many residents quickly mobilized. Several wanted posters are posted on social networks, people return to the area of ​​the accident to try to lure the cat with food and return it to its owner.

“She was waiting for me to come back”

When Lilou returns to the place where she lost control of her car, a miracle happens. Equipped with a small bell, the young woman hopes to attract her cat by shaking it. It is then that Bagheera actually emerges from the forest. The animal had not gone too far from the place where it saw its mistress for the last time. “She was simply waiting for me to come back,” concluded Lilou at the microphone of France Bleu.

Today, the young woman says she is very grateful for the collective effort to find her cat following her call for help. “It’s incredible. I never lost hope, thanks to the kind messages and support I received. (…) If you no longer believe in humans, come and visit the Creuse,” she jokes.
