« Bordeaux passed the Coupe de France obstacle with a 5-0 victory for the Girondins against the little thumb of FC Seudre Océan. It was for the Girondins, a trip behind closed doors. We had talked a lot about this closed session which did not allow this small D1 team to be able to hold the match at home, to be able to have tickets, to make revenue. It’s a shame, we were really disappointed for them, that’s how it is. The match took place and Bordeaux quite logically won 5 to 0. Bordeaux was serious, that’s what the coach also said. Besides the controversy, it’s true that the Girondins de Bordeaux did the job against this small team. They respected the opponent and logically won this match 5 to 0. It is above all the seriousness that we can remember. Serious Bordeaux players, Bordeaux players who showed a good face, notably with the return of certain players who showed great qualities. We can obviously talk about the striker Ben Khemis who scored the first goal, a shot into the top corner. We can also talk about those who have confirmed like Soufiane Bahassa, who I found interesting. We can also talk about Emeric Depussay who played his first match, even if he came out a little injured. We hope that it will not be too serious for the Girondins de Bordeaux midfielder. But it’s true that we’re not going to lie to ourselves, we really expected seriousness from the Girondins, to win cleanly because we needed to win this match. We still haven’t won an official match for the Girondins this season. It’s done, and for the mind, for the state of mind, it feels good for the future. »
