The leading candidate, UNIR for the legislative elections in the Ogou prefecture, Yawa Kouigan attended Friday and Sunday, May 3 and 5, 2024 in Atakpamé, the Muslim and Christian prayer to give thanks to God for the peaceful progress of the double ballot of April 29.
She and members of the UNIR party reaffirmed their commitment to the peace and prosperity of Togo, thus strengthening ties between the Muslim community and the political authorities.
On her Facebook page, the minister and activist, Kouigan Yawa praised the good performance of the double ballot won hands down by UNIR.

All united in intentions and prayers, the Ogou candidates had prayed to entrust the two weeks of the campaign to God through religious services in the city of seven hills.
A few days after the double vote, they gathered together again this time to give thanks for the smooth running of the campaign in tranquility and peace throughout the country on May 5, 2024.
Peace reigned, peace won, love triumphed for the happiness of Togolese citizens who mobilized on April 29 in Atakpamé as everywhere else in Togo.
In the meantime, the proclamation of the final results by the constitutional court, the provisional results announced by the CENI give Unir 04 seats for the legislative elections, and 05 for the regional ones in the electoral district of Ogou.
Much more than a slogan “When we are united, we win” is a maxim that everyone should be inspired by.
