The Castres golf course is offering a day reserved for women on Sunday “to take time for yourself”

This is one of the areas of work of the French Golf Federation: attracting a female audience. And the -Gourjade golf sports association takes this mission to heart by offering activities reserved exclusively for women and by including themes other than golf. Last year, Lady Golf attracted 80 women on the theme of self-confidence. This Sunday, October 6, the theme is “Dare to breathe”. “We offer women the opportunity to take time for themselves, without a partner or children, in a pleasant space,” says Virginie Sénégas, the president who worked with her team to offer a diverse program open to all.

After a welcome with coffee and gift giving at 10 a.m., novice golfers will be entitled to an introduction and more experienced golfers to a quick session on the course. At noon, participants will benefit from a golf exhibition by the club’s women’s teams. Then, a vegetarian meal will be served at the restaurant “Au sens des papilles” in Gourjade. At 1:30 p.m., a group yoga session is planned, then at 2:30 p.m. a sensory walk and finally at 3:30 p.m. a personal development coach will be at their disposal. The price for this “outdoor sport and health” day is only €10 (meal included) and registration is essential at 05.63.72.27.06.
