Dozens of local merchants decorated their windows especially for Pink October, in conjunction with organizations that fight against breast cancer. For their part, the 3 Roses volunteers plan to hold a stand this Saturday, October 5 in a large area, with lots of objects and new products in the colors of the association. The usual meetings are unchanged: two walks are organized from the port of Ribérou on Sunday October 13 and the “80s” evening on Thursday October 31 will take place at La Salicorne.
Awareness and well-being
It is in the thermal park that the first edition of a day “Together around breast cancer” will be held, as confirmed by Sylvie Lagarde, the president of the 3 Roses. “For the first time and in collaboration with the Thermes de Saujon, we are organizing an awareness and well-being day on Saturday October 12. The public will be able to participate in numerous well-being workshops led by professionals, attend a free conference hosted by Marie-Lucile Bodet, gynecological surgeon at 10 a.m., enjoy a film debate session around the film ‘Personn’elles’ by Valérie-Anne Moniot at 1 p.m., learn to self-palpate. The best is to come and discover. » There will be around ten well-being workshops with access for 2 euros (reservation on site) and around ten stands from local traders.
