Thursday evening, while the two restaurants Pollen and Aromates du Golf de Naxhelet welcomed their customers, a fire alarm pushed them all towards the rallying point, a stone’s throw from the parking lot. An alarm which warned of a fire in the Wellness area. Very quickly, flames were licking the roof as firefighters from the Hemeco area battled the fire. Fortunately, the fire, although it caused significant damage, was limited to this space. Customers have also returned to restaurants and the hotel. Only problem: there was no more water.
Throughout the day, the teams on site tried to resolve the difficulties to allow the Jolly family’s activity to resume. While the golf course and the two restaurants were still operational, this was not the case for the hotel and, even less so, for the Wellness area. And this evening, Françoise Jolly announces, with relief, that the hotel will reopen on Monday, the rooms will be available again for customers. The restaurants and the golf course are continuing their activities already this evening and this weekend. “Massages also”confirms Françoise Jolly who, quickly this Friday, explained that she could offer massages in a space other than the one that was hit by the fire.
