This father of four boys had recently left the Ministry of the Economy, in his personal vehicle, when the accident occurred in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. The victim was admitted to Cochin hospital, as reported by several media. It was at an intersection located in this district located in the center of the city, on the left bank of the Seine, that the events took place.
The 55-year-old minister’s vehicle “hit [le] cyclist shortly after 7:30 p.m., according to information held by the press agency. Affected at the level of the eyebrow, the cyclist would also suffer from possible trauma to the head. The police Source, according to whom the accident took place on rue Bonaparte, specified that he had been evacuated to the hospital center by the firefighters. For his part, The Parisian informs us that he was, at the time of his treatment, in a state of relative emergency. Bruno Le Maire, on the other hand, was not injured. “Like any citizen, in such a case, he answered the police’s questions and took an alcohol test on the spot.
