Fire surprises five residents in their sleep in Nantes

A fire surprised residents of a small collective in their sleep, on the night of Friday May 3 to Saturday May 4, in Nantes. Five people bothered by the smoke were examined on site by firefighters.

The firefighters were called on the night of Friday May 3 to Saturday May 4 for a fire which broke out in a small collective on rue Francis-de-Préssensé, Dalby district, in Nantes.
Shortly after 4:30 a.m., they deployed two hoses as well as the large ladder to put out the fire. No less than 21 firefighters were mobilized to fight this disaster.

The operation lasted several hours.

Five residents inconvenienced

Five residents who inhaled smoke were examined by a firefighter nurse on site. They were not transported to the hospital as their state of health did not require it.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
