Many countries have denounced the Iranian attack which targeted Israel. in the first place, with Emmanuel Macron who “condemned in the strongest terms the new attacks by Iran against Israel”declared the Élysée in a press release following a Defense Council. The French president demanded that “Hezbollah ceases its terrorist actions against Israel and its population”recalling that France is “committed to the security of Israel”. He also asked the Israeli authorities to “end as quickly as possible” to their “military operations”calling more widely “all actors involved in the crisis in the Middle East” has “exercise the greatest restraint”.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer also condemned “with the greatest firmness” Iran’s attack on Israel, reiterating “firm commitment” from the United Kingdom “in favor of the security of Israel”.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez did the same and called for an end to the “spiral of violence” in the region. The head of Spanish diplomacy José Manuel Albares added that his country was launching “a new call to all actors, including Israel of course, for restraint, de-escalation and responsibility”.

The EU “condemns in the strongest terms” Iran’s attack on Israel, said Tuesday the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell. “The dangerous cycle of attacks and retaliation risks spiraling out of control. An immediate ceasefire across the region is necessary”he estimated on the social network “The EU remains fully committed to helping avoid regional war”.
